For those who wish to leave no stone unturned, no secret unfound, and no tool uncollected, the Farsight becomes an indispensable relic. This peculiar item, obtainable only deep into the late game of Hollow Knight: Silksong, transforms the menu screen into a comprehensive checklist—revealing exactly how many mask shards, tools, and other collectibles remain before the elusive 100% completion is achieved. But how does one even lay hands on this prized artifact? And what must be done before its powers can be harnessed?
The journey to acquire the Farsight is no trivial undertaking. It demands that Hornet first pierces through the veil of the main narrative and uncovers the secret third act. This hidden chapter, known as Act 3, remains inaccessible to those who simply rush through the story. To unlock it, one must commit to a series of preparatory feats: complete a considerable number of the game’s most significant side quests, locate every last one of the mischievous Fleas scattered across the kingdom, and finally return to Bellhart, where Hornet can access her personal sanctuary—the Bellhome. Once these conditions are met and the final boss of Act 2 lies defeated, the true scope of Pharloom unfolds.
With Act 3 opened, the path forward winds its way toward Songclave. Here, the storytellers weave a new thread, guiding Hornet ever downward. The objective becomes clear: descend into the Abyss. This dark, echoing chasm might seem daunting, but its layout is deceptively straightforward. There is only a single, winding main path that pushes deeper into the gloom. Shortly after leaving the comfort of the Diving Bell bench—the first resting spot in this abyssal region—Hornet will stumble upon a second bench. Above this seat of respite, a map can be found, illuminating the nearby passages. It is here that the hunt for the Farsight truly begins.
From that newly discovered bench, a swift venture to the right reveals an ornate Needolin door. This intricate gateway does not open without effort; it demands a new skill. By passing through this door, Hornet gains the ability known as Silk Soar, an elegant and swift maneuver that allows her to ascend to previously unreachable heights. With this ability freshly acquired, the player must then climb upward and press further to the right. What awaits there is no grand battle or cryptic puzzle—simply a humble pedestal upon which the Farsight rests, waiting in silence for someone worthy to claim it.
Acquiring the Farsight, however, is only half the equation. In its raw state, it remains inert, a curious glass lens that whispers of untapped potential. To unlock its true utility, Hornet must bring it home. After exiting the Abyss and returning to the surface of Pharloom, the quickest route involves calling upon the Beastlings at any Bellway Station. By pressing upward on the controller while performing the Needolin action, Hornet can summon these beasts, who will ferry her directly back to the last Bellway Station she visited. From there, a short trek brings the journey full circle—back to Bellhart, back to the Bellhome, the very place where the third act was first set in motion.
Inside the Bellhome, a new interaction awaits. There, Hornet can finally assemble the Farsight. With a delicate and deliberate process, the lens clicks into place within the menu interface, and suddenly, the world of percentages and checklists springs to life. What was once a blind adventure becomes a meticulously tracked quest. The Farsight does not simply display a completion number; it breaks down exactly what tools are absent, how many mask shards still lie hidden, and which other critical items have evaded discovery. For completionists, it removes the guesswork and transforms the final stretch of the game into a methodical treasure hunt.
But is all this effort truly worth it? For those who find joy in perfection, who ache to see every corner of Pharloom illuminated on their map, the Farsight is nothing short of a revelation. Without it, tracking down that last stray Flea or the final upgrade can become a maddening exercise in wandering. With it, the menu becomes a mirror reflecting every small victory yet to be seized. The road to the Farsight demands patience—reaching Act 3, navigating the Abyss, unlocking the Silk Soar, and finally returning to Bellhome for assembly—but the reward is a clarity that no other item provides. In Hollow Knight: Silksong, knowledge is power, and the Farsight offers a vision of completion that few other relics can match.
For players who devote themselves to every detail Pharloom has to offer, the hunt rarely ends with a single title. The same meticulous spirit that drives a Silksong explorer to track down the Farsight—checking every corner, comp less

The breathtaking art, the fluid combat, the haunting melodies – it’s a masterpiece that demands to be experienced. But for a completionist like me, simply reaching the credits was never going to be enough. I needed to see everything Pharloom had to offer. I needed to conquer every challenge. I needed that Platinum trophy.
And after countless hours, more than a few rage quits, and a deep dive into every shadowed corner of the kingdom, I finally did it. Now, with the game having been out since 2023 and many of you still chasing that final trophy in 2026, I want to share what I’ve learned. This isn't just a dry list; it's the story of how I unlocked all 52 trophies in Hollow Knight: Silksong, and how you can too.
The Trophies at a Glance
There are 52 trophies in total, split across multiple categories that will test your skill, patience, and keen eye for secrets. The good news? A large chunk of them will unlock naturally as you battle through the story and defeat main bosses. The bad news? Several are missable, and some demand a level of mastery that will push you to your absolute limit. Here’s a breakdown:

I can’t stress enough how important it is to be aware of the missable achievements. During my first playthrough, I completely missed a hidden boss tied to an early game accessory simply because I progressed too far. I won’t spoil which one, but let’s just say I started a second run with a much more careful plan.
The Journey from Novice to Grandmaster
The story-related trophies are the backbone of your journey. From escaping the bindings of your cage to confronting the highest powers in the Citadel, each major milestone pops a satisfying trophy. What surprised me, though, was the emotional weight behind them. The game doesn’t just hand them out – they often mark moments of profound discovery and heartbreak.
But the real test begins with the exploration achievements. Are you prepared to leave no stone unturned? Pharloom is a vertical labyrinth, and you’ll need to find every hidden grove, every forgotten shrine, and every secret passage. One trophy requires you to collect all of the Silk Charms, which are scattered across the map in the most infuriatingly clever hiding spots. I remember spending three real-world days searching for the last one, only to realize it was locked behind a breakable floor I’d walked over a hundred times. Did that make me feel foolish? Absolutely. But the rush of finally holding it was worth every second.
Speaking of infuriating, let’s talk about the boss rush trophies. If you thought the base game bosses were challenging, wait until you face their remixed, harder versions in the Carpenter’s Gauntlet. To unlock the “Unyielding Silk” trophy, you must complete a gauntlet of twelve bosses without dying, and taking damage is heavily penalized. I felt my heart in my throat during that final fight, my hands trembling as I delivered the last strike. My advice? Practice the individual bosses in the Hall of Memories until their patterns become muscle memory. You’ll need it.
The Missable Achievements That Almost Broke Me
Must you worry about missables? Yes, and you should be extra cautious. The most notorious missable trophy is undoubtedly “The Weeping City’s End,” which involves a side quest that can be permanently locked if you slay the wrong creature or reach a certain late-game area without completing it. I learned this the hard way. The quest giver, a mysterious masked merchant, will simply vanish if you progress too far, taking the trophy with them. Always exhaust every dialogue option and side area before advancing the main quest.
Another missable, “A King’s Sacrifice,” ties directly to a choice you make in the mid-game. Will you heed the call of vengeance or break the cycle? Your decision not only shapes the narrative but also determines whether this trophy pops. My first choice felt right morally, but it cost me the achievement. On my second run, I steeled my heart and picked the other path. The experience left me questioning my own sense of justice – a real testament to the game’s writing.
Crafting Your Way to Completion
The crafting trophies are a welcome respite from the nail-biting combat. Gathering the myriad resources—Crimson Thread, Shimmering Shells, and the elusive Loomlight Ore—takes time but rarely feels unfair. I thoroughly enjoyed the process of upgrading my Tools and Crests, watching Hornet become an unstoppable force. One thing I wish I’d known earlier: don’t waste your rare materials on early-game upgrades. Save them for the final-tier gear, because you’ll be using those to survive the absolute hardest con less
